Recognized for her candor, compassion and experience in family law, Ms. Writer had built a successful family law practice based on her impeccable reputation. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine, and her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.
Ms. Writer was sworn into the State Bar of California in 1998, and into the US District Court, Central District of California in 1999. She chooses to focus her practice exclusively on the challenging area of family law, since this is one area of the law which lends itself well to creating and maintaining a close bond with clients. Today, her practice flourishes from the referrals of satisfied clients and attorneys in Orange County, and surrounding areas.

Ms. Writer strongly believes in giving back to the community. She volunteers at the Public Law Center and is a frequent guest lecturer on family law issues at California State University, Long Beach. As Chairperson of the Seminar Committee of the OC Barristers, she works closely with Commissioner Richard G. Vogl to plan the annual Family Law Symposium. Ms. Writer serves as a member of the UCI and TJSL Alumni Associations, and is an active member of Toastmasters, International.
